About Me

Hello! My name is Stephanie Maeve, and I am a 35-year-old American who has been living in Europe for the last six years. I enjoy crocheting, reading, writing, eating, traveling, and hanging out with friends, family, and my cat, Louise. Last year, I quit my job and decade-long career in financial compliance in order to pursue a Higher Diploma in English at University College Cork. Ultimately, I want to follow my heart and hopefully find a more fulfilling career path within the freelance copywriting or publishing industry.

While working towards my degree, I interned part-time with a non-profit publisher specializing in bibliotherapy and mental health. I am proud to have worked in an industry I love in order to support a cause I am passionate about. In my spare time, I am also learning Swedish in anticipation of my return to Gothenburg this summer, performing freelance copywriting work, and updating my blog, my life in lowercase.

"Stephanie was incredibly quick and responsive. After only one 'brief' she responded back within 24 hours with exactly what I was hoping to communicate but in a more creative and effective way. Very pleased with the ease of cooperation with Stephanie and will definitely seek her assistance in the future and highly recommend her services."
